Goupil is a French manufacturer specialising in compact, 100% electric utility vehicles, designed and produced since 1996. The company focuses on delivering practical, user-friendly solutions tailored to a wide range of professional applications, including logistics, urban services, facilities management and last-mile delivery.
With over 25 years of experience, Goupil has produced more than 30,000 vehicles and operates with a strong industrial base in France. Its production model emphasises made-to-order vehicles, with up to 24 units manufactured per day, ensuring flexibility and customisation for customer needs.
Goupil vehicles are designed to be compact, efficient and cost-effective, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, safety and ease of use. The company distributes its vehicles in more than 40 countries through an established international network.

Founded in 1996, Goupil has been a pioneer in electric utility vehicles for urban and professional use. The company launched its first vehicle, the Goupil V2, in 1999, followed by successive models including the G3, G4, G5 and most recently the G6, reflecting continuous innovation and product development (as illustrated in the timeline on page 5).
A key milestone in the company’s evolution was its acquisition by Polaris in 2011, strengthening its industrial capabilities and supporting further international growth.
Over the years, Goupil has built a strong reputation across Europe, with its vehicles widely adopted by cities, public authorities and major private organisations. Today, the brand is recognised for combining electric mobility with practical, adaptable solutions tailored to real-world operational needs.
